China used $ 17 billion to build a bridge system connecting a vast bay area that has a GDP matches the whole South Korea. Leaders in Washington can easily spend $ 17 billion in bomb, missiles, and buying local warlords in Afghan, Iraq, Syria, or Republics of Banana each year. Yet our elite is warning you "Death by China". If we chose destructions instead of constructions, we should not blame anyone other than ourselves.

You're making a good point. Modern China has become great through trading, not through military power.

It's ok, travelling all this far not for money would be stupid. But I urge everyone who works here. You get paid high, you should be as equal responsible. Dislike goes to Marcello Lippi who literally blames his players in many occasions after major losses, even though he was top 3 football couches in the world of history.

@tony Don't curse like a fool. HKers just get different passport & ID card than Macau and mainland, speaking Cantonese as most people in Guangdong and Guangxi doing. The quick downfall of HK compared to Singapore, Shanghai and Guangzhou is counted on its own government. Lack in administrative resources, get nothing to do with tycoons like colony government, land policy biased to real estate companies in consequence to an unhealthy balance between public and private housing (don't understand things ...

I am a Chinese and I don't think it's funny to laugh at India. Everyone has the right to feel proud of their own counties. It's not anyone's fault to think their county is great. And I respect India from many aspects. India develops very well recent decades. Even though it is not as good as China, still India people have the good reason to feel proud of their achievement. I also feel happy for their big development and hope India and China can cooperate with each other more and more in the future. Ever...

It is so annoying that so many irrational Indians always announcing that ‘wait until xx years later india will .....’ or ‘one day india will become super power’. So many Indians cant wait to announce how ‘great’ india is, come one dude keep that for yourself, no body interested. From a standpoint of foreigners, everyone knows India is still very underdeveloped. Instead of wasting time announcing or fantasising, why not spend time doing some community service which can help your community. I guess the ...
