    night lapse mode, iso 800 (you can lower the iso if you have a good light source, but you might not see the stars if that happens), 30 shutter speed, at continuous interval. Plenty of youtube videos on gopro night lapse tutorial. good luck.

    in the GoPro hero 5 there is a Night Lapse function. I have done this with mine and have achieved great results!

    Although I like the milky way in the background, there is just too much noise. Also, isn't your white balance off to? My opinion is that you need to check your white balance and turn down the ISO to 800. I am sure you know this by now though.
