    I am from Indonesia, and u can find similar dish: ayam balado.. we incorporate lotsa chillies in our dishes too.. some are adapted from chinese food

    I am from the Northeast and I can say that us NE people eat more chili than South Indians... I was in South India for 6 years and have tried dishes from Kerala, TN, Karnataka... They use a lot of chili in their dish but they don't eat it... Chili's are mostly used for aroma and looks
